Description

Das Relief zeigt den aus der venezianischen Adelsfamilie der Giustiniani stammenden Lorenzo Giustinian (1381-1456), den ersten Patriarchen von Venedig (seit 1451). Der Dargestellte erscheint mit einer glatt anliegenden Kappe, dem fein gefädelten Chorhemd der Brüder von San Giorgio in Alga und im Vorgriff auf den Nimbus mit einem Strahlenkranz.
