Description

Zu Herkunft, Fundort und -zeit des Skeletts ist leider nichts bekannt. Die Großtrappe (Otis tarda L.) zählt zu den größten flugfähigen Vögeln der Welt. Sie kommt in Mitteleuropa heute nur noch lokal und inselhaft vor (in Deutschland: Brandenburg) und ist hier vom Aussterben bedroht.
