Die Siegelumschrift in Großbuchstaben: STADTVERORDNETE ZU OSTERWIECK.
Mittig ist eine Rose, ähnlich der des Osterwiecker Stadtwappen, abgebildet. Anders als die Rose des Wappens weist diese hier sechs statt fünf äußere Blätter auf.
