Afternoon dress.
FIG. CCLXXII.
The front hair in small curls; the hind hair in ringlets. Turban
cap of embroidered gauze, tied behind, and the end trimmed with broad
lace. Round gown of clear muslin, the border embroidered in white;
short sleeves, trimmed with lace. Girdle of silver tissue, fastened by a
large medallion. Gold ear-rings. Gold chain round the neck. White
gloves and shoes.
