Medaille mit der Abbildung von Ernst Amme
Amme - der Sohn eines Müllers und später Ingenieur und Industrieller - baute in Braunschweig eine bedeutende Maschinenfabrik auf, die auf Mühlenbau spezialisiert war. Die Arbeitsgemeinschaft Getreideforschung in Detmold verleiht seit 1955 die "Ernst Amme-Medaille" für herausragende Leistungen in der Mühlentechnologie.
