Vorlage: Brustbild nach rechts, 1779, zuletzt Privatbesitz Winterthur, ursprünglich im Besitz des Johann Gottlob von Quandt (Berckenhagen Nr. 990)

Der frühverstorbene Dresdner Zeichner und Kupferstecher Johann Friedrich Moritz Schreyer (1768-1795) war ein Schüler Christian Gottfried Schulzes. Vermutlich handelt es sich bei dem vorliegenden Stich, der nicht die Angabe "Schulze direx." trägt, nicht um ein Werk, bei dem sich Schulze nur den Namen eines Schülers geliehen hat, sondern um eine eigenhändige Arbeit Schreyers.
