Description

Bildnis der Königin Marie Antoinette (1755-1793) nach rechts in einem blauen Seidenkleid à la anglaise mit Spitzen und Schleife am Ausschnitt. Auf dem Kopf trägt sie einen Hut mit Federn und in den Händen hält sie eine weiße Rose. Sie trägt um den Hals eine Perlenkette und an den Handgelenken ebenfalls Perlen. Im Hintergrund ist eine Landschaft erkennbar.
Das Bild entstand nach dem Gemälde von Elisabeth Vigee-Lebrun in Versaille (1783), welches in mehreren Kopien überliefert ist. (KSDW)
