Loeben, Otto Ferdinand Graf von (1741-1804), sächsischer Staatsmann.

Brustbild nach rechts in ovalem Rahmen.

Der gebürtige Leipziger Friedrich August Brückner (1785-1854) lernte Kupferstechen bei Johann Friedrich Bause sowie Porträtmalerei bei Anton Graff. Als Graffs Porträt des Kursächsischen Ministers Graf von Loeben entstand, war der Stecher gerade erst geboren. Der Kupferstich im repräsentativen Format mit schlichter Einfassung dürfte kurz vor dem Tod des Dargestellten, um 1800/1805, entstanden sein.
