Description

Ein 1927 in Osnabrück angekauftes "Minnekästchen" aus dem 15. Jahrhundert, gotisch.
Flacher querrechteckiger Kasten, Scharnierdeckel, Eichenholz, rot gefasst. Kasten und Deckel reich mit Eisenbändern mit Blattornamentik geschmückt. Auf dem Deckel Tragebügel, Eisen. Schloss mit geschweiftem Schlossblech und Überfall, geschweiftem Schlossblech und Schlüssel. Die Bemalung zwischen den Bändern zeigt Ranken und Vögel mit Schriftbändern.
