Description

Der Drehstrommmotor (Schweißgerät) der VEM Elektronen und Maschinen GmbH Finsterwalde,
Typ DE 12 - 50, Nr. 24522 war im Einsatz im Glaswerk Glashütte Baruth als Teil des VEB Glaswerk Großräschen. Der Drehstrommotor ist stark korrodiert. Seine Stromkabel sind porös. Am Ende eines Kabels findet sich eine Schraubzwinge, offenbar mit dem Zweck einen Pol zu erzeugen. Die Verwendung des Motors im Zusammenhang des Schweißens ist unklar.
Ausgestellt wird das Objekt in der Sonderausstellung "Eingezäunt". Der zylindrische horizontal liegende Motorblock ist auf ein Fahrgestell mit vier massiven Metall-Radreifen montiert.
