Description

Dieser Feldspatporphyr kommt ursprünglich aus Dalarna im westlichen Mittel-Schweden. Damit stammt er aus der Herkunfts-Region 6 der norddeutschen Leitgeschiebe.

Es wurde durch die Gletscher der Saale-Kaltzeit vor etwa 200.000 Jahren nach Westfalen transportiert; dort stehen im weiten Umkreis keine derartigen Gesteine an. Bemerkenswert ist der Reichtum an Einsprenglingen; die Außenseite von hellrosa Farbe ist grubig verwittert.

Fundort: Bauerschaft Hamern zwischen Billerbeck und Rosendahl, Münsterland
