Description

Diese Tafel wurde während der Eröffnung der "Gedenkstätte der Befreiung auf den Seelower Höhen" im Jahr 1972 enthüllt. Sie befand sich am Eingangsbereich der ständigen Ausstellung bis 1985.
Die Einweihung der Gedenkstätte, am Fuße der bereits 1945 angelegten sowjetischen Erinnerungsstätte, fand anläßlich des 50. Jahrestag der Gründung der Sowjetunion statt.
