Description

Ansicht eines Zugangsweges zum Mühltor in Bautzen, einem Stadttor, rechts davon ein großer Rundturm mit exzentrisch aufgesetztem Turmhelm.
Der Turm ist 47 m hoch und diente sowohl als Wehrturm als auch als Schöpfwerk, um für die Bevölkerung Wasser aus der Spree zu schöpfen.
Eine Wasserkunst besteht aus einem Mühlrad, das ein Schöpfwerk antreibt, mit dem Wasser in einen Hochbehälter befördert wird.
