"Das ist die grüne Käpsel - die Mütze von Louis Henry Fontane. Louis Henry Fontane war der Vater von Theodor Fontane. Er lebte in Schiffmühle an der alten Handelsstraße nach Polen. Hierbei handelt es sich um eine Nachbildung der Kapsel vom einzigen Portrait des Vaters. Aus dem Buch "Meine Kinderjahre" dazu: 'Auf dem Kopfe saß ein Käpsel. Grün mit einer schwarzen Ranke darum.'
Vermutlich war die Mütze ein Geschenk von Theodor Fontanes Frau Emily an den Schwiegervater zu Weihnachten 1855."
