Die Riemen des Spanngeschirrs wurden über Rücken und Gesäß des Pferdes gelegt und je nach Bedarf und Ausführung an Tragesattel und oder dem Kummet verschnürt. Zum Spanngeschirr gehörten in der Regel 2 Zug- oder Spannketten mit einem gebogenen Bügel am Kummet
