An abundant jewelry set was found in a grave of a young woman buried with an exquisite ritual. Temporal pendants with multiple details, which were used as decoration of a headdress, especially attract attention.
On the main plaque, which has several lines of pendants attached, a combat scene is depicted: a man in Scythian clothes is lying on the ground with a gryphon overhanging him. It might be a representation of a myth commonly known amongst all of the Indo-European nations: a hero – embodiment of life-giving origin – stands against a power that is hostile to land and humankind and overcomes it. The scenery reflects a concept of an eternal confrontation between good and evil, warmth and cold, humidity and drought, life and death.
