The quadrifolio lamellar medallion with the image of John the Baptist was an element of the aventail or camail (barma). The linear waist frontal image was made with niello technique. A halo is around the head. Hands are raised in front of the chest and turned to the right. Near the left hand there is an image of a broken cross, below the figure there is an image of a lily (kryn). The background is decorated with lines.
