Description

Die Viola d’amore war ursprünglich ein Englisches Violett. Das Instrument wurde mehrfach umgebaut. 1964 erhielt das Instrument die vorliegende Form nach Rückbau durch Artur Grigutsch in Weimar. 7 Spielsaiten und 7 darunter liegende Aliquotsaiten verleihen dem Instrument einen lieblich-reizvollen Klang.
Signierung: "Paulus Alletsee Hof-Lauten und Geigen-/macher in München/1725". Originalzettel.

Material/Technique

Griffbrett mit Ebenholzfurnier, größtenteils Ebenholzwirbel; Zarge, flacher Boden Vogelaugenahorn und Hals aus Ahorn.

Gesamtlänge = 810 mm. Korpuslänge = 391 mm. Breite = 199/201, 133/135, 263/266 mm
