Description

Hammerflügel: Typ der leicht gebauten Flügel mit Wiener Mechanik, die im deutschen Sprachraum 1780-1815 Verbreitung fanden. Grundkonzept beruht auf Stein-Streicher-Flügel. Konstruktive Ähnlichkeiten mit Hammerflügeln bei Gottfried Silbermann. Tonumfang: F1-a3. Kniehebel (Dämpfung links, Pianozug rechts) und 1 Handhebel (Fagottzug für F1-c1), wo im Bass Papierrolle an Saiten gedrückt wird. Über der Klaviatur befinden sich eine Plakette mit der Darstellung von Venus und Amor sowie zwei Messingbeschläge mit Judith und Holofernes.

Material/Technique

Gehäuse aus Kirschbaum furniert, Untertasten mit Ebenholzbelegen; Bodenplatte aus Fichte, auch die meisten anderen Teile. Stimmstock und Stege aus Ahorn.
