Eingabe des Demeterpriesters Kalathos an den Strategen Soteles, in der er sich beklagt, dass er im Gegensatz zu den ägyptischen Priestern des Dorfes von dem Steuererheber Horion zu einer neuen Steuer namens Staterismos (στατηρισμός) herangezogen worden sei.

ἔτους β ο η κ δ πα σ ρ α π ρ χρ Σωτέλει Σωτέληι συγγενεῖ κα ὶ στρατηγῶι καὶ ἐπὶ τῶν προσόδων παρὰ Καλάθου ἱερέ ως Δ ήμη τ ρ ος καὶ Κ όρης καὶ τῶν ἄλλων θεῶν τοῦ ἐν κώμηι Φῦς Θεσμοφορίου. ἀνε γ κλήτω ς παρ εχόμενος τὰς λειτουργίας καὶ τὰς θυσί ας κ α ὶ σπονδὰς ἀναφέρων τοῖς θεο ῖ ς ὑπὲρ σοῦ καὶ τῶν τέκνων, οἷς καὶ εὐχόμενο ς διατελῶ διδόναι σοι χάριτας μορφὴν πλοῦτον ὄλβον εὐτεκνίαν εὐπραξίαν, ὅπως διευτυχῇς εἰς ἰ ς τὸν ἅπαντα χρόνον, παρὰ τὴν σὴν εὐσέβειαν ἐνοχλούμενος ὑπὸ Ὡρίωνος ὡς πρὸς στατηρισμὸν ἄλλοτε μὴ τετελεκότος μου πειρωμένου ἐ πὶ σοῦ τοῦ μεγίστου καινισμὸν κατεν- π ι σ ι ἠνάγκασμαι τὴν ἐπὶ σὲ ποιήσασθαι π οιήσασθ ε καταφυγήν. ἀξιῶ, ἐὰν φαί- νηται, παρεπιγράψαι τῶι Ὡρίωνι μὴ παρενοχλεῖν με πρὸς στατηρισμὸν καθάπερ ἐπὶ τῶν ἐν τῆι κώμηι Αἰγυπτί ων ἱερέων, ὅπως δύνωμαι τοῖς θεοῖς τὰ νομιζόμενα καὶ τὰ ς ἐξῆς χρείας ἀμέμπ τ ως ἐπιτελεῖν
