Description

Das Ruinen- und Heimatfest von Elsterberg findet von 1883 bis heute meist vierjährig statt. 1975 stand es unter dem Motto "Bauernkrieg, 30. Jahrestag der Befreiung". Thomas Müntzer hielt sich wohl um 1520 in Elsterberg auf, möglicherweise bei seinem Freund Marcus Thomae (Bad-)Stübner, der zu den von Luther so genannten "Zwickauer Propheten" gehörte.
