Description

Zum 450. Jahrestag des Bauernkrieges 1975 stieg die Ausgabe von Gedenk- und Erinnerungsmedaillen sowie Veranstaltungsplaketten sprunghaft an. Mit den zahlreichen Ausgaben der Städte, die mit dem Leben Müntzers verbunden waren, beginnt die industrielle Massenproduktion von Müntzer-Medaillen als Erinnerungsstücke, die meist mit geringem Aufwand in unterschiedlicher Qualität hergestellt wurden. Diese Medaille ist ein Beispiel dafür.
