Description

Viereckiges Gewichtplättchen aus Messing, Kanten abgeschrägt, rückseitig flach. Vorderseite eingeschlagener Rundstempel mit Kreuz (aus L-Buchstaben gebildet), zentral eine Sonne, in den Kreuzwinkeln Bourbonen-Lilien.
Münzgewicht für einen Louis d'or au soleil (franz. Goldmünze 1709-1715).

Fundort: Feldgemarkung, östlich Grünstadt.

Altbestand des 1903 gegründeten Altertumsvereins Grünstadt.
