Description

Stotoetis, Sohn des Stotoetis, verlässt sein Haus für einige Tage, nachdem seine ganze Familie im selben Haus (wegen einer Epidemie?) gestorben ist. Er hatte einem Pekysis und einer Thases das Haus anvertraut, aber als er zurückkam, fand er sein Haus aufgebrochen und ausgeraubt vor. Deswegen schreibt er dem Strategos.

ῳ στρατηγῷ Ἀρσινοίτου Ἡρακλείδου μερίδος παρὰ Στοτοήτεως τοῦ Στοτοήτεως ἱερέως ἀπὸ κώμης Σοκνοπαίου Νήσου· πρὸς τὸν παρόντα καιρὸν τελευτησάντων κατὰ τὴν οἰκίαν μου θυγατέρων μου δύο μετὰ τῶν ἀνδρῶν αὐτῶν καὶ γυναι κός μου καὶ ἄλλων πλείστων, ἀπο δημήσας τὰ οἰκόπεδα παρεθέμην Πεκῦσι Σαταβοῦτος καὶ γυναικὶ αὐτοῦ Θασῆτι καὶ μετῆλθον εἰς ἐποίκιον Ἁλμυρᾶς λεγόμενον πε ρὶ κώμην Ἡράκλειαν· ἐπιμεί νας οὖν ἐν αὐτῷ ἡμέρας ὀλίγας καὶ ἐπανελθὼν τῇ β τοῦ ὄντος μηνὸς ηὗρον τὴν οἰκίαν ὑπό τινων
