Die Eirenarchen des Arsinoites schreiben die Eirenarchen des Neilopolites und bitten um die Rückgabe einer in Philadelpheia für Staatsleistungen requirierten Eselin, die irrtümlich am Ende von Transportleistungen zusammen mit anderen aus dem Neilopolites stammenden Eseln in den Neilopolites gebracht wurde. Die Eselin soll dem Eigentümer gegen eine Empfangsbestätigung zurückgegeben werden.

εἰρήναρχοι Ἀρσινοείτου εἰρηνάρχαις Νικιουπολείτου τοῖς φιλτάτοις χαίρειν. ὄνος θήλεια μυόχρους ἀγγαρευθεῖσαἐνγαρευθεῖσα εἰς τὸν ἡμέτερον νομὸν ἐν κώμῃ Φιλαδελφείᾳ συνηλάσθη τισὶντισεὶν καὶ αὐτοῖς ἀγγαρευθεῖσειἐνγαρευθεῖσει τοῦ ὑμῶν νομοῦ. φροντίσατε οὖν, ἀδελφοί, τὸν ἄνθρωπον ἀναζητήσαντες τὴν ὄνον παραδοῦναι τῷ διαπεμφθέντι ὑφʼ ἡμῶν δημοσίῳ καὶ δεσ πότῃ τῆς ὄνου λαβόντες γράμματα παρʼ αὐτῶν τῆς παραλήμψεως. ἐρρῶσθαι ὑμᾶς εὐχόμεθα, φίλτατοι. ἔτους α τῶν κυρίων ἡμῶν Μακριανοῦ καὶ Κυήτου Σεβαστῶν Παῦνι κ.
