Ἡρακλείδης Ἡρᾷ υἱῷ χαίρειν. πρὸ τῶν ὅλων ἀσπάζομαί σε συνχαίρων ἐπὶ τῇ ὑπαρχθείσῃ σοι ἀγαθῇ εὐσεβεῖἐσευβεῖ καὶ εὐτυχεῖεὐτυχῆ συμβιώσεισυμβιώσι κατὰ τὰς κοινὰς ἡμῶν εὐχὰς καὶ προσευχάς, ἐφʼ αἷς οἱ θεοὶ τέλειοντέλιον ἐπακούσαντες παρέσχον· καὶ ἡμεῖς δὲ ἀκοῇ ἀπόντες ὡς παρόντες διαθέσειδιαθέσι ηὐφράνθη μεν κατευχόμενοι ἐπὶ τοῖς μέλλουσι καὶ ὅπως γενόμενοι παρʼ ὑμῖν συνάρωμεν δι πλῆν εἰλαπίνην τεθαλυῖαντετεθαλυῖαν καὶ καθὼς οὖν ὁ ἀδελφόςδδελφος σου Ἀμμωνᾶς διείλεκταί μοι περὶ ὑμῶν καὶ τῶν ὑμῶν πραγμά των, ὡς δέον ἐστίν, γενήσεται καὶ περὶ τούτου θαρσῶν ἀμέλειἀμέλι καὶ σὺ δὲ σπούδασον ἡμᾶς καταξιῶσαι τῶν ἴσων γραμμά των καὶ περὶ ὧν βούλει, ἐπίστελλέ μοι ἡδέως ἔχοντι καὶ εἴ σοι ἀβαρές ἐστιν καὶ δυνατόν, συναπόστειλόνσυναπόστιλόν μοι σιππί ου τρυφεροῦ λίτρας δέκα γίνονται λίτραι ι καλῶς κεχειρισμένας τῆς οὔσης παρὰ σοὶ τι μῆςτειμῆς ἐν τούτῳ μηδὲν βλαπτόμε νος· προσαγόρευε ἀπʼ ἐμοῦ πολλὰ τὴν σοὶ φιλτάτην σύνευνον μεθʼ ὧνΜεθών ἐρρῶσθαί σε καὶ εὐανθοῦντα εὔχομαι, κύριέ μου υἱέ.
