Description

Thermuthas schreibt ihrem Bruder Apolinarios, dass sie sich um die Getreidesteuer gekümmert hat. Sie fordert ihn auf, sich bei Kupaneus bezüglich des Hauses, in dem Taesis wohnt, zu melden, da sie sich weigert, die Miete zu bezahlen. Ferner wünscht sich Thermuthas von Apolinarios leere Papyri, um Briefe schreiben zu können. Verschiedene Grüße folgen.

Θερμουτᾶς Ἀπολιναρίῳ τῶι ἀδελφῷ χαίρειν. γιγνώσκεινγινωσκιν σε θέλω, μὴ μελησάτω σοι περὶ τῶν σιτικῶν· εὗρον γεωργόνγεοργόν, ὅστιςτις αὐτὰ ἑλκύσειἑλκύση, ἀλλὰ τὰ σπέρματα τίς διδοῖς καὶ περὶ τοῦ ὑπολόγου τῶν σῶν. ἔλαβε ἡ ἀδελ φή σου ἀρτάβας ἓξ ἐκτὸς σπερ μάτων. γράψον Κουπανηοῦτι περὶ τῆς οἰκίας· ἐπεὶἐπὶ γὰρ λέγει Ταῆσις· οὐ δίδωμι ἐνοίκιον· ὀφεί λει γάρ μοι χαλκὸν ἀντὶ τῶν ἐνοικίων, καὶ ἔτι μέμφεταιμεμφη σου τὴν ἀδελφὴν περὶ τοῦ υς, ὅτι οὐκ ἀπαι τεῖς τὴν ἐνμένουσαν ἐν τῇ οἰκίᾳ σου τὸ ἐνοίκιον. ἵνα εὕρωμεν καὶ ἡμεῖςἡμῖςηραις εὔλογον λαλῆσαι αὐτῇ, γράψον Κουπανηοῦτι ἐπιστολήν, προστάξαςπροσσ, ἵνα εὕρῃ εὔλο γον πρὸς αὐτὴν λαλῆσαιλαληση. θερ μῶς ἀσπάζεταί σε Κουπανηοῦς, ἀσπάζεται Ζοϊδᾶ Οὐαλερία, ἀσπάζου Σερῆνον, ἀσπάζεταί σε Ἡρωῒς καὶ Δημητροῦς καὶ πάντες ἀσπάζονταί σε οἱ φιλοῦν τές σε ἐρρῶσθαί σε εὔχομαι.
