Description

Eingabe des Soeris, Sohn des Pakysis, an den Strategen des Arsinoites Flavios Apollonios. Drei Kamele, die Soeris von seinem Bruder Onnophris geerbt hat, sind von Satabus mit Gewalt geraubt worden. Da eine vorherige Eingabe keine Wirkung hatte, bittet Soeris jetzt um eine Regelung bezüglich der kommenden Viehmeldung, die er abgeben muss.

Φλαουίῳ Ἀπολλωνίῳ στρατηγῷ Ἀρσινοΐτου Ἡρακλείδου μερίδος παρὰ Σοήρεως Πακύσεως ἀπὸ κώμης Σοκνοπαίου Νήσου. ὁ ἀδελφός μου Ὀν νῶφρις ἐτελεύτησεν ἄτεκνος ἐπὶ κληρονόμῳ ἐμοί, καταλείψας μοι καμήλους τρεῖς οἵτινες λρρ ἐμοὶ ἦσαν. Σαταβοὺς δεπαρπεινος. ἀλόγωςἀλώγως ἐπῆλ θέ μοι καὶ βιαίως ἀπέσπασεν τοὺς κα μήλους, περὶ οὗ καὶ τότε σοι ἐνέτυχον διὰ Μέλανος δούλου μου, αὐτὴ ἐν ἀσθενίᾳ τυγχάνουσα, καὶ ἐπέταξας, ἕνα τῶν περί σε ὑπηρετῶν ἐπαναγκάσαι αὐτὸν ἀποκαταστῆσαί μοι τοὺς καμήλους, ὃς μα θὼν αὐτὸ τότε ἀφανὴς ἐγένετο. ἐπεὶἐπὶ οὖν μέχρι τούτου οὐκ ἀποκατέστησέν μοι αὐτούς, τυγχάνω δὲ τῇ ἔναγχος τῶν θρεμ μάτων ἀπογραφῇ ἀπογραψαμένη, ἀξιῶ νῦν χλω ροφαγούντων αὐτῶν ὑπὸ τὸν Σαταβοὺν μ ιδες οὐκ ἔχουσαυκ σα
