Description

Pakysis, Sohn des Pakysis, schreibt an Archias, den Strategen des Herakleides-Bezirkes. Pakysis hatte im Herbst 120 n.Chr. einen Stier geopfert. Viele Jahre später wird von der Behörde bei ihm nachgefragt, warum er die Bescheinigung über die Kennzeichnung des Opfertieres nicht vorgelegt hatte. Pakysis erklärt dann im vorliegenden Dokument, dass damals der μοσχοφραγιστής (Zuständige für die Kennzeichnung der Opfertiere) das Tier zwar gekennzeichnet, ihm aber keine Bescheinigung dafür ausgehändigt hatte. Die Sitte der Bescheinigung wurde nämlich erst zwei Jahre später vom Idios Logos eingeführt.
