Μανδρόβηι Ἱέραξ ὁ παρὰ σοῦ συμμείξας ἀπέδωκέ μοι ἃ ἐγεγράφειςἐγεγραφει ὑπέρ τε τῶν ποταμοφυλάκων καὶ ἄλλων. τούτοις μὲν οὖν ποταμοφύλαξι τοῦ Πτολεμαικοῦ γέγραφα προπέμψαι ὑμᾶς τὴν οὐραγίαν μέχρι Ἱερᾶς καὶ παραδοῦναι τοῖς ἀπὸ τοῦ Τρωίτου, καὶ ἐκείνοιςκακείνοις δὲ ὅπως σὺν ὑμῖν γένωνται πρὸς τὸ Χιὴ τοῦ Κυνο πολίτου· ὀρθῶς οὖν ποιήσειςποιήσης τοὺς δηλου μένους ποταμοφύλακας συντάξας εὐθαρσεῖς ποιεῖσθαι καμάτους, καὶ ὡς ἂν ἐπὶ τῶν τόπων γένωνται ποιων ἀπαύστως
