Die lateinische Bezeichnung und Abkürzung "Aug. Divi. Fil." steht für "Augustus, Sohn des Göttlichen". Kaiser Augustus (63 v. Chr. - 14 n. Chr.) hatte maßgeblich die Vergöttlichung seines Adoptivvaters Gaius Julius Cäsar ( 100 - 44 v. Chr.) betrieben.
