Der Geraer VEB Gerana Kosmetik ist seit den 1960er Jahren vor allem mit einem Erzeugnis, dem "Ba-du-san-Fisch", landesweit bekannt geworden. Vom Geraer Gebrauchsgrafiker Günter Kerzig entworfen, erhielt das Produkt 1964 einen Design-Preis als "Beste Verpackung".
