Description

Das Gefäß diente vermutlich zur Aufnahme von Getreide. Die kugelige Form, abgesehen von der abgeflachten Standfläche und der relativ breiten Mündung, ermöglicht das größte Fassungsvermögen auf engstem Raum. Die Gebrauchskeramik behielt aufgrund ihrer Zweckorientierung auch über Jahrhunderte eine weitestgehend konstante Form.
Es wird in das 1. Jh. n. Chr. datiert.
