Description

Kombatjacke für Männer mit langen Ärmeln, grün-braun gemusterter Stoff mit Leinwandbindung (Baumwolle, Poplin), vier Taschen, davon zwei Brusttaschen, schräg gestellt, Knopfleiste und Brusttaschen mit olivgrünen Knöpfen aus Kunststoff. Die Jacke ist länger als gewöhnlich, damit man darüber ein Koppel tragen kann. Verbandsabzeichen und Namenszug (oberhalb der Brusttaschen) wurden abgetrennt. Die Jacke gehört zu einem Kampfanzug (BDU= Battle Dress Uniform) in ERDL Tarnung (Engineer Research & Development Laboratories), die ab 1967 in Vietnam verwendet wurde.
Die Jacke brachte ein Tech Sgt. von seiner Stationierung in Tha Son Nhut, Vietnam, mit, als er von dort auf die Air Base Zweibrücken versetzt wurde.
