Description

Der Sikaraat genannte Kopfschmuck besteht aus einem noch nicht näher bestimmten Material (vermutlich ein recycelter Gummi), das in Stäbchen geschnitten und dann durch Schnüre verbunden wird. Auf die Schnüre werden Glasperlen aufgefädelt.
Dieser Stirnschmuck wird von den Frauen der mentawaiischen Schamanen getragen. Er wurde 1997 angekauft.
