Das Zierdeckchen aus naturfarbenem Leinengarn ist in der Technik der Solspitzen gearbeitet. Ein 11 x 5 cm großes Mittelmotiv ist von acht Kreisen im Durchmesser von 5 cm umgeben. Diese sind von 2 cm kleinen Kreismotiven eingerahmt und miteinander verbunden.
Die Name Solspitze bezieht sich auf die Sonne, da die einzelnen Motive über eine runde Model gearbeitet werden. Es ist eine in Spanien gebräuchliche Spitzentechnik.
