Description

Ein vegetabiles Motiv ist in diesem Dekor jeweils in den Ecken platziert, mit den Blättern und Blüten nach innen weisend, wobei der Fond in der Mitte der Platte frei bleibt. Das Motiv ist um die Achsen des Formats gespiegelt. Im Verbund der Fliesen ergibt sich eine weitere Spiegelung, wobei jeweils vier Stengel der Pflanze zusammengelegt sind.
Der Entwurf ist von einer filigranen Zeichnung, die eine Anregung durch Katagami, japanische Schablonen für den Textildruck, möglich erscheinen lassen.
