Die Haube aus ursprünglich wohl gelbem Seidendamast und Rosshaar-Gaze stammt aus Astrachan und schütze den Träger vor Mücken. Emissäre August Hermann Franckes haben Russland bereist und sich auch mehrmals in Astrachan am Kaspischen Meer aufgehalten.
