In dem Buch befinden sich verschiedene Fotografien von Gebäuden, Straßenzügen und sogar Einwohnern von Niesky. Es wurden zum Teil die gleichen Ansichten zu unterschiedlichen Zeitpunkten angefertigt.
Herausgegeben wurde das Buch von Joachim Scholz und Ruth Neumann.
