Description

Die erste Weltausstellung - damals auch als Industrie-Ausstellung bezeichnet - fand 1851 in London statt. Für ihre Produktion feiner Kammwollstoffe wurden vier Geraer Textilfirmen mit Preismedaillen ausgezeichnet. Die Schatulle mit den Medaillen erhielten stellvertretend die Landesherren, das Fürstenhaus Reuß.
