Description

Einer von insgesamt fünf Exemplaren eines Holzschnitts, der nach Auskunft der eigenhändigen Beschriftung ein "Bruchstück" darstellen (s. Objektgruppe, Haupttext bei Inv.-Nr. NLMx Dg 204).
Das Werk ist aufgeführt auf der Liste von Hauptwerken im Anschluss an den "Roten Faden" und dürfte nach der Reihenfolge dieser Liste zwischen 1921 und 1924 entstanden sein. Es ist nicht identisch mit dem hier ebenfalls aufgeführten und 1925 datierten Spätwerks "Trotz des Sturzes hinauf."

Handschriftlich bezeichnet: "Aus einer Holzschnittfolge (Bruchstück 1) - Dorothea Milde."
Kein Monogramm.
