Die Fotografie "Entwuf für die Stahlwand im Theater Dortmund" ist mit farbigen Kreiden Koloriert und auf einer Hartfaserplatte aufgezogen worden. Unten links befindet sich die Signatur "Pan Walter 1963".
Der Entwurf der Wand stammt von Hugo Kükelhaus, ausgeführt wurde die Wand von dem Ostberliner Kunstschmied Metallgestalter Fritz Kühn (1910 - 1967).
