Description

Die Vase wurde in einer Glasmanufaktur in Böhmen oder Schlesien hergestellt. Sie besteht aus olivgrünem, mundgeblasenem Glas. Den Mündungsrand ziert ein schmaler Goldrand. Auf die Wandung wurde ein Mädchen im langen Kleid, das Rosen streut, aufgemalt. Diese weiße pastos wirkende Emaillemalerei wird als sogenannte "Schneemalerei" bezeichnet. Die Technik wurde erstmals 1873 auf der Weltausstellung in Wien vorgestellt.
