Scherbe mit kleiner Marke aus braunem Glas, gestempelt "I W L [auf einem Davidstern] / [Lachs]", korrodiert und leicht irisert.
Die Initialen stehen für Isaac Wedling, ein Mennonit, der die Likörfabrik 1708 erwarb und der bis heute namensgebend blieb, vollständig „Isaac Wed-Ling Wwe & Eydam Dirck Hekker“ (https://kulturstiftung.org/zeitstrahl/gruendung-der-danziger-liqueur-fabrik-der-lachs, Online: 26.09.2022) Der dargestellte Lachs verweist auf den historischen Sitz der Danziger Destillerie im Haus "Der Lachs". Das Fragment wurde in Neuglobsow gefunden und dem Museum leihweise überlassen. Dorthin wird es als angekaufter Glasbruch gekommen sein, demnach vor 1900, als die örtliche Glashütte den Betrieb aufgab. [Verena Wasmuth]
