The ring shows a circular basic shape with a diamond-shaped cross-section. Two attachments sit opposite each other on the ring.
On one side, a narrow bar grows out of the ring attached with a round, very flat bronze knob similar to a disc on it. On the other, a rod swings out of the ring in an arc, ending in a flat shape. Despite the very flat design of the latter part, a narrow circumferential line is visible. From the side, the area appears spatula-shaped. This, as well as the sweep of the curved rod, reveal the appliqué to be the head of a stylized water bird.
