Description

Bruchstück aus der Oberkante der Wandung eines Glasschmelztiegels aus gebranntem Ton oder Schamotte mit rundem Einschnitt, oberflächlich glasiert und verfärbt.
Bruchstücke sogenannter "Häfen" sind typische Zeugen der manuellen Glasherstellung. Die Mulde dürfte zur Ablage der Glasmacherpfeife gedient haben. Woher dieses Fragment stammt, ist nicht überliefert. [Verena Wasmuth]
