Description

Das Flugblatt von ca. 1629 zeigt eine Darstellung der Belagerung von 's-Hertogenbosch. Rechts unten ist auf einer Karte die Stadtansicht abgebildet.
Die Belagerung von 's-Hertogenbosch fand im Jahr 1629 während des Achtzigjährigen Krieges und des Englisch-Spanischen Krieges statt. Die Stadt wurde von einem niederländischen und einem englischen Heer eingenommen. Seit 1579 gehörte die Stadt zu den Spanischen Niederlanden.
Die Radierung stammt von Wenzel Hollar. Gedruckt wurde das Blatt von Noë Zimmermann.
