Das Flugblatt aus den Jahren um 1580 zeigt in der Manier Giuseppe Arcimboldos ein Papstporträt, das sich aus Gegenständen aus dem katholischen Ritus zusammensetzt.
Die Radierung verwendete als Vorlage einen Holzschnitt von Tobias Stimmer.
