Description

Kopf einer Fußstreitaxt oder Breitaxt ohne Schaft.
Stark gewölbte, halbmondförmige Klinge, beidseitig geschliffen mit spaltender Wirkung; dünnes Blatt nach unten hin zu klar abgesetztem Bart erweitert; Blatt konkav verjüngend zu Hals und Öhr.
Handgeschmiedet aus einem umgeschmiedeten und am Hals übereinander gefalteten Stück Stahl, bzw. Eisen; leicht oval gewölbter Nacken, Haus mit keilförmigem Öhr.
Vermutlich hergestellt für militärische Zwecke; unbekannter Fundort und Hersteller.

Zustand:
Leicht beschädigt. Korrosion, Kratz- und Gebrauchsspuren auf Blatt, Abdruck des entfernten Klebeetiketts auf Blatt
