Description

Das handbemalte Porzellanmedaillon im Holzrahmen ist nicht datiert. Es zeigt die evangelische Pfarrkirche in Berlin-Weißensee, die - im Zentrum des ehemaligen Dorfes Weißensee - an der Berliner Allee 180-184 ihren Standort hat.
Auf den aus dem 13. Jahrhundert stammenden Fundamenten entstand im Laufe der Jahrhunderte die bis in die heutige Zeit überlieferte Bauform. Der während des Zweiten Weltkrieges fast völlig ausgebrannte Kirchenbau wurde in den Jahren 1948/49 wieder aufgebaut.
